The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is committed to being fully prepared to assist the citizens of Jacksonville. In recent years, JFRD has expanded its network of critical care units, with the latest unit opening in 2023. Over $80,000 has been invested in advanced lifesaving equipment to ensure readiness for the most challenging scenarios. The JFRD continues to strive towards advancements in aqcquiring life saving technology and equipment to prepare for the worst.
